Message from the Chairman of ige2005 Organizing Committee

Welcome to the 11th International Gold Event! This is the second time for the event to be held in Hong Kong and we are extremely thankful to the International Award Association and other organizations for all their support in making this event happen.

The ige2005 offers a very good opportunity to gather 100 Gold Award Holders from over 40 countries worldwide. The theme of the ige2005 is "The Award & Global Issues". It emphasizes the importance of relating the Award Scheme to some threatening global issues happening around the world. We sincerely hope this can raise the youth's awareness about our world, and contribute their effort to alleviate the problems we face.

We have put together a comprehensive series of programs including activities and discussions to ensure that this is as special occasion for us all. I want to thank everybody involved in the planning process for all their hard work and support. I very much hope that this ige2005 provides you with a valuable experience that will rest in your memory forever.
