Overview

The International Gold Event (IGE) is the eleventh International Gold Event to be held before the celebration of the 50-year history of the Award Programme enabling young people from across the globe to broaden their horizons and come together under the umbrella of the International Award family. During the event the partcipants will have the chance to cross cultures and, be exposed to global challenges of environmental conservation, control of HIV/AIDS and relief of poverty. A total of 80 overseas Gold Award Holders from over 30 countries are cordially invited to join with 20 local participants from 13-28 September 2005 in this international event.
